The 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton

Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker accompanied the Swiss Watch Brand on the occasion.

Longines welcomed the Queen’s Baton Relay of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in its London’s Oxford Street Boutique. On this occasion, Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker was present to celebrate the visit of this symbol of the Games, of which the upcoming edition will take place on the Australian East Coast from 4th to 15th April 2018.

Longines is the Official Partner of the Queen’s Baton Relay. The Swiss Watch Brand will also work as Official Partner for timing, scoring and results for the Commonwealth Games.

The 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton

The Queen’s Baton Relay began its journey in Buckingham Palace in March and carries a message to the athletes from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which will be read out at the Opening Ceremony of the Games. The Baton is now travelling through the 71 nations or territories of the Commonwealth, covering 230,000 kilometres.

Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker and Longines Vice-President and Head of International Marketing Juan-Carlos Capelli carried the Baton in and out of the London Longines Boutique. The Queen’s Baton Relay will now continue its journey through Europe before visiting Asia.
