In addition to plenty to tell, we now have stuff to sell!

Our loyal readers appreciate the rich variety and quality of the editorial content on WorldTempus. But we have recently seen an increasing demand for accessories and luxury objects related, either closely or loosely, to the world of watchmaking. Having opened up an accessories section on WorldTempus earlier this year to bring news and reviews of such items, we now take the logical next step with the opening of a WorldTempus shop.

Our new shop is now online at shop.worldtempus.com and you will find a whole range of watch-related accessories there, such as travel cases and watch winders, but also gentleman’s accessories such as cufflinks and bracelets. We will be constantly increasing the range of products available in the run-up to Christmas so it’s worth stopping by regularly to see the latest new arrivals.

After covering the SIAR in Mexico City recently, we now turn our attention to London, where we will be heading to the annual SalonQP watch exhibition later this week. One theme at the exhibition among several brands will be the celebration of anniversaries, notably 20 years of Chopard’s L.U.C collection, 110 years of Montblanc and 225 years of Girard-Perregaux, which will have an impressive collection of anniversary pieces on display. But, as brands increasingly use these regional exhibitions as platforms for major launches, a major new technological innovation will also be announced. Find out more on our homepage on Friday.

As an exception to the rule, our November competition will start on 2nd November, since this is the launch day of the brand-new watch that we will be offering. It was the smart move!
