Porosus takes its name from Crocodylus Porosus, a species of crocodile which has been breeding sustainably in Malaysia for over 20 and is renowned for offering the best quality leather. After supplying customers in the luxury industry, including the major luxury watch brands with top quality crocodile leather straps, as well as producing bespoke shoes and wallets for connoisseurs, Porosus is now a brand in its own name. Porosus's range of luxury accessories includes belts, cigar holders, wallets as well as bowties.

Porosus has full control over the entire production process, from breeding the crocodiles up to the finished product. Its factory is ISO-certified for OEM production to luxury brands and the company has become a CITES member.
