A new bracelet for the Safari

A new bracelet for the Safari - Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren presents a new aged-steel bracelet that fits perfectly into the Safari collection.

Black treated cases are now a staple of most brands, offering an alternative to the more traditional aesthetics of brushed or polished stainless steel or the more prestigious look of gold. But such cases come in many forms, from forged carbon and carbon fibre composites to PVD (physical vapour deposition) and (A)DLC ((amorphous) diamond-like carbon) coatings. In the Ralph Lauren Safari collection however, the black look comes from a shot-blasted aged-steel that is unique to the brand.

This material has already been used for the case but so far only matched with a leather or fabric strap. Ralph Lauren now presents a metal bracelet using the same shot-blasted aged steel as the case. It is paired with the anthracite and camouflage dials familiar from the collection, with their oversized 12 and 6, and comes in the 39mm and 45mm case diameters.
