TAG Heuer Football: The family of TAG Heuer ambassadors in the spotlight
Cristiano Ronaldo and Claudio Ranieri crowned respectively Best player and Best coach of the 2016 year by FIFA.
On the 9th of January at the FIFA gala in Zurich, Cristiano Ronaldo, TAG Heuer ambassador since 2014, received the prize of Best player of the 2016 year. This is a new reward of the Portuguese player, who won everything this year: The Champions League with his club, the Euro with Portugal and the Ballon d’Or award. To receive his trophy, Cristiano Ronaldo was wearing a Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer-02T, the in-house Tourbillon, paired with a COSC-certified chronograph, a unique piece set with 68 baguette diamonds.
On his side, Claudio Ranieri, TAG Heuer ambassador since May 2016 and coach of the Leicester team, has also been crowned with the title of the Best coach of the 2016 year. The 2016 year has been a great vintage for Claudio Ranieri, who performed one of the biggest achievement in the Premier league history by driving his modest Leicester team to the England championship title.
