After more than 50,000 votes from the public and a tight competition, the winner of the Autavia Cup has been elected.
On the first day of Baselworld 2016, Tag Heuer launched a unique online operation, "The Autavia Cup", asking all fans of the brand to choose their own favourite historic Autavia model from a selection of 16 watches that represent the first generation of Autavias produced by the company in the 1960s. The winner will be reissued and presented at Baselworld in 2017.
After more than 50,000 votes from the public and two rounds of competition, the four finalists were Reference 2446 Mark 3 and Mark 4, the Reference 2446C SN and the "fantasy" version of the Reference 2446 Mark 3.
The winner of the Autavia Cup is the Reference 2446 Mark 3 (1966) also known as the "Autavia Rindt". The watch will be reissued and unveiled at Baselworld 2017.
