How to incorporate the latest technology without compromising on aesthetics... that was the challenge for the Smartwatch Ladies Vitality, launched in summer 2020. Beneath a beautiful and traditional dial, lies a Swiss Made calibre capable of displaying essential daily information on request: heart rate, activity tracker, messages and notifications, weather, alarm, chronograph and plenty more besides.
From the outset, Frederique Constant decided to develop an oh so feminine range of watches measuring 36 mm in diameter, featuring decorative floral dials and luxury finishes, like rose gold plated cases with two-tone steel/rose gold plated straps.
The splendour of steel
Frederique Constant is adding five new coloured versions to its range, suitable for special occasions or everyday use. All are bright and colourful, complete with rubber straps for travelling the world or walking on the beach, still 36 mm in diameter, and as competitively priced as ever.
Smartwatch Ladies Vitality The first three all have a steel case with luminescent hands, luminescent applique hour markers and a steel crown. One fashion-forward and decidedly girly design includes a dial and strap in a new shade of pink for the manufacture, without being overwhelming. Another creation incorporates one of the most popular colours in watchmaking right now – blue. Soft pastel, the link between sky and sea; designed for the free-spirited individual. Finally, the third steel model embraces the subtle and delicate shade of light grey. Bold but elegant, for those who dare to think outside the box, this watch is ready for everyday adventure.
Sporty or chic? How about both...
The remaining two versions clearly embody the classic quality prized by Frederique Constant, the delicate warmth of the rose gold plated case being picked up on the hour markers, hands and crown. Both styles incorporate the grey and blue of the steel designs, as well as rubber straps in matching colours; sporty and chic, they assert their uncompromising character by refusing to choose!
Engineered for daily life
Inside these new versions still ticks the FC-286 movement, exclusive to Frederique Constant. Designed and assembled in Switzerland, it is the only one to offer nearly all of the most popular smart functions within its traditional style Swiss Made case.
In this way, the Smartwatch Ladies Vitality analyses physical activity, heart rate - achieved by integrating the very latest Philips Wearable Sensing sensors - and ensures the user’s well-being at night too. Capable of analysing sleep quality (deep, light, wakefulness), it is also equipped with an intelligent alarm to wake you up at the optimum time, using the analysis of sleep cycles. Based on the monitoring of all these metrics, the Dynamic coach can provide personalised guidance to help you stay in shape, as well.
In terms of external monitoring, the Smartwatch Ladies Vitality shows the weather, a second time zone, automatic time and date synchronisation, as well as notifications of calls and messages (e.g.: Mail, Messages, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, WeChat, Viber, Uber, KakaoTalk, Pinterest, Spotify).
One dial, two faces
The dial reveals a digital display on demand, showing certain information of your choice. To move from one function to another, all you need do is tap the crown: simple, intuitive, instant. After noting the desired information, the digital screen returns to standby mode and is once more invisible to the naked eye. The Smartwatch Ladies Vitality regains its classic and elegant appearance in an instant.
The Smartwatch Ladies Vitality automatically synchronises with the Frederique Constant Smartwatch app (iOS or Android, free). Set your preferences before uploading them onto the watch. Rechargeable and surpassing the standards of existing smartwatches, it can offer up to seven days’ autonomy, depending on usage.
