Tambour éVolution In Black - Louis Vuitton
The GMT, GMT Chronograph and Spin Time GMT models are now available in an all black version.

Launched in 2013, the Tambour éVolution collection presents a new angle on the signature Tambour watch by Louis Vuitton in an ultra-masculine version: strong lines and a hi-tech profile.

Water-resistant to 100 m, the three models have a case, lugs and crown crafted in DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) steel that gives them a distinguished design and resistant yet lightweight technical properties. This avant-garde interpretation is accentuated by a new black calf leather strap with an embossed carbon effect and a screw-down crown that is protected by a stainless steel “V”.

GMT and GMT Chronograph
The LV71 and LV92 selfwinding mechanical movements fit the GMT and Chronographe GMT respectively. They feature a 42-hour power reserve and beat at 28,800 oscillations per hour. The oscillating weight is visible through the transparent back and bears the LV signature.

Spin Time GMT
The exclusive Spin Time movement was patented in 2010 and offers two time zones:  the reference time is displayed by Spin Time cubes and the local time with hour hands.
Acting like a jumping hour mechanism, the system wound by the automatic movement goes into action every 60 minutes. In a flash and by a twelfth of a turn, it moves a disc fitted with appendices. These act on the Maltese crosses riveted to the axes of the aluminium cubes, rotating two of the twelve cubes by a quarter turn. The first presents a satin-finish face whereas it previously displayed an arrow, and the other, whose cube face had a satin-finish a few moments beforehand, presents in a flash an arrow pointing outwards to indicate the hours from 01:00 to 12:59 or an arrow pointing inwards to display those from 13:00 to 00:59.
