Armin Strom Racing Manual
For the 2014 Formula 1 season Armin Strom proposes an updating of its Racing collection, with two new calibres made from a Formula 1 engine.
Convinced that, just like a watch, a car can be recognized by its heart, the Armin Strom manufacture has taken from a Formula 1 engine the components with the most suitable physical and aesthetic properties to be transformed into watchmaking parts. This approach, with the help and friendly supervision of the Marussia F1 Team, in particular its driver and brand ambassador Max Chilton, is used in the new calibres of the Racing Gravity and the Racing Manual models.
The Armin Strom Racing Manual is above all a study of lines. The purity of the decoration seems to have been inspired by aesthetic norms approaching those determining the aerodynamics of the racing car. The machining of the visible bridges on the dial side reflect the forms, which hold the secrets to Formula 1 performance. This watch is based on calibre AMW11, which has a 5-day power reserve.
The ARMIN STROM manufacture expresses the very substance of its founder’s legacy. Its guiding principle is that of reinterpreting watchmaking tradition. To this end, it applies the principle of making movements visible and decorating them at every stage of their design and production.Find out more
