Cuervo y Sobrinos Torpedo Cronógrafo
Representing an historical landmark for the Cuervo y Sobrinos, the Torpedo Cronógrafo unveils its latest enhanced features this year.
The Torpedo Cronógrafo is now powered by a Dubois-Dépraz movement 4500/ETA 2892-A2 caliber, driving the following functions: chronograph with 60 seconds counter in the center, 30 minutes and 12-hour counters at 9 and 6 o’clock and small seconds at 3 o’clock, central chronograph seconds hand in red. The date appears through a window at 12 o’clock.
Making the watch even more special is a pulsometer and tackymeter scales on the bezel. The accurate 15-beat pulsometric scale and the tachometer travel-speed, both enhance the standard watch functions. The movement guarantees a 40-hour power reserve and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The Torpedo Cronógrafo comes in a 43 mm case in stainless steel. The timepiece is fitted with a grey leather strap with a folding buckle. Sold in a special carbon fiber humidor box, it is a limited edition of 40 pieces.
“El tiempo lento”: the firm’s motto perfectly encapsulates its approach. Its world is that of early twentieth-century Havana, a period of luxury and elegance in which time takes on a different dimension.Find out more
