Born in the Swiss Alps, Alpina has always shared common values with skiing, a sport in which technical competence, precision, perseverance and respect for the mountains are essential. Official watch supplier of the French Ski Federation since 2016, the brand has shown its commitment and affirmed its support for the FFS and its athletes. Their excellent results in the World Cup and the most recent winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang only served to strengthen the decision to renew the partnership for the next two years.

Since 2015, Alpina is also partner of Victor Muffat-Jeandet, member of the French Team of Alpine Ski and Bronze medal at the PyeongChang winter Olympic Games in 2018. Last September, the Swiss watchmaker announced that it will be once again on the skier's side for the coming World Cup season starting this weekend (Saturday 27.10 for ladies; Sunday 28.10 for men) in Sölden, Austria.
Alpina has created a team of brand ambassadors bringing together different athletes of the French Ski and Snowboard teams with Nastasia Noens (alpine ski), Nelly Moenne-Loccoz (snowboard cross), Jean-Frédéric Chapuis (ski cross) and Robin Buffet (alpine ski). Italian skiers Irene Curtoni and Luca de Aliprandini, as well as Swiss skiers Luca Aerni and Charlotte Chable, can also be added to this list of winter sports ambassadors.
