Armin Strom's Skeleton Pure celebrates the mechanical architecture of a movement by highlighting the layered construction of the components. Featuring Armin Strom's Calibre ARM09-S, the movement is skeletonized and the plate accentuated through 3D PVD colorization. The gear train and barrel bridges are plated with rhodium or ruthenium.
The manual-wind, double-barrel movement offers an 8-day power reserve with hours, minutes, small seconds and power reserve indicator. Skeleton Pure is produced in editions of 100 in Armin Strom's four traditional versions: Fire (18k rose gold), Water (stainless steel), Air (titanium) and Earth (black PVD coated stainless steel).
The Water version is characterized by its beautiful blue color: the main plate is coated with blue PVD and can be seen through the sapphire dial. The indexes and the Armin Strom logo are also blue.
The watch is delivered with a genuine dark blue alligator horn-back strap and stainless steel ardillon buckle as well as an additional dark blue rubber strap.
The Skeleton Pure Water has earned the Red Dot Design Award 2015.
