This 170 piece limited edition watch was created as an invitation to step into the shoes of the professionals who work under extreme conditions. It is not only an instrument designed to support them in their missions, but an ally at all times.
This vintage model immerses us into the world of racing by taking its inspiration from the first Formula 1 races’ DNA. Notably, its 41 mm case is made of satin-finish steel and its black and yellow dial are a reference to the colors of the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team. The timer is black on a yellow strip, reminiscent of the hatched decoration of Formula 1 in the Seventies, and guarantees an optimal reading of the chronograph function. This complication, invented for measuring short lengths of time, is the queen function in motorsport. It allows the performance of racing cars to be measured with great precision. It is the calibre BR-CAL.301, an automatic mechanical movement, which administers the watch's functions. The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap.
The colors, the ultra-domed crystal, the rubber bracelet and the shape of the horns reinforce the vintage look of this piece. The historic logos of Renault from the Seventies and the checkered flag from the finish line appear on the dial of this unique timepiece and are also engraved on the bottom of the case.
