Epure Acier Chronograph - Boucheron
A technological and masculine timepiece, the Epure Acier Chronograph is available with black or silvered dial.

With the strong lines and classic esthetic of the Epure collection, Boucheron plays on contrasts that come together in a celebration of simplicity, this promising a new and timeless elegance.
Following the launch of the first gold version in gold two years ago, Epure is now introducing 6 steel models for an even more contemporary look, and among them 2 chronograph versions. Beneath the Epure Acier’s cleverly simple round case lies a highly complex design and a creative esthetic that enhances Boucheron’s iconic motifs more than ever before: the electric blue cabochon; the double gadroon; the oversize 3 and 9 markers, paying tribute to the year1893, when the Boucheron boutique opened at 26 Place Vendôme; and the Paris cobblestones.

A technological, masculine chronograph
Available with black or silvered dial, the Epure chronograph combines the classic elegance of the Epure case - 43 mm, steel, water-resistant to 50 m -  with a highly technical complication. The case is topped with a domed sapphire crystal, antireflective-treated, and a sapphire crystal on the back, opening on the movement.
The blue hands add a touch of colour that is softened by the brilliance of the polished markers. The two pusher of the chronograph have been adorned with 2 blue sapphires, giving the watch a contemporary and asserted aesthetic.

The heart of the watch is the automatic winding chronograph movement SW500, with hour, minute, second and chronograph functions. It beats at 28'800 bph and offers an approximate 48-hour power reserve. The superior bridges feature pearl finishings and the inferior bridge snailed finishings. The oscillating weight is engraved with "1858 - PARIS".
A black alligator strap, with large scales and visible stitches, completes the timepiece. It is secured by a steel triple folding pin buckle with security clasp.
