Breguet makes a point of honor to develop each of its creations based on an ancestral savoir-faire and design. This year, the House pays tribute to the art of cameo carving - a traditional technique of sculpture on the surface of a shell - and presents the watch "Secret de la Reine".
This timepiece draws its inspiration from the famous portrait of the Queen of France called "Marie-Antoinette à la rose". It is adorned with a beautiful cameo engraved rose, which, in the tradition of secret watches, reveals the time. The dial, flange and collection’s emblematic bow offer gem-setting.
This piece and other Breguet watches and jewelry creations are currently presented in Bangkok, Thailand, at the occasion of the “Bangkok Central International Watch Fair", until October 2, 2013.
