Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 38
The famous pilot’s watch is back in a new 38 mm case.
The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 is part of a legendary watch family, but it has its own personality, harking back to the 1950s when Breitling introduced the Reference 66, a three-hand Navitimer. There are no chronograph subdials, so its dial is refreshingly clean. With a 38 millimeter case, it is perfectly sized both for men who prefer smaller watches and for the many women who, over the years, have asked for a Navitimer with a smaller diameter.
The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 features a newly designed beaded and ratcheted bidirectional bezel, lending this timepiece a distinctly elegant look. Its easy-to-master aviation slide rule has long been associated with Breitling’s Navitimer. The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 has a date window at 6 o’clock, with a matching date disc and a red-tipped second hand that offers maximum readability.

The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 features a stainless-steel case - water resistant to 30 meters - a bidirectional stainless-steel bezel, and a screwed caseback, and comes with either a black or blue dial and matching alligator leather straps. It is also available with a silver dial in a stainless-steel version, with a 18k red gold bezel and a brown alligator leather strap.
The Caliber 17 has a dual-acting ball-bearing rotor, a 40-hour power reserve, and is COSC-certified. It powers the hour, minute, second and date functions.
From humble family beginnings Breitling grew into a major player in the world of chronographs and aviation instruments. At the dawn of a new era, the brand is poised for a legendary future.Find out more >
