The final instalment of our series on the Bucherer Blue Editions collectors’ watches focuses on women.

After the sports watches and the classic dress watches, today we’re going to take a look at what the Bucherer Blue Editions can offer the ladies.

Chopard Happy Sport 30 mm and Happy Sport 36 automatic

Du bleu pour ces dames

If you’re a fan of Chopard and its Happy Sport models, and you’re in the market for a blue watch that’s elegant, relaxed and a little bit different (just like you!) then you’re in luck. The Bucherer Blue Editions has three of them! The main difference compared with the standard Happy Sport watches lies in the sapphires that have been added to the mobile diamonds on the dial. There are two small 30 mm three-handed models, in either steel (CHF 6,480) or steel and rose gold (CHF 7,480) with Roman numerals and blue hands, equipped with an automatic movement. Then there’s the 36 mm version, which also features a date, plus an extremely handsome sapphire-set bezel (CHF 13,960).

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Small Model

Du bleu pour ces dames

Vacheron Constantin’s Traditionnelle range also features three models in the Bucherer Blue Editions collection. Just one of them, however, is for women – the elegant Petit Modèle in 18K rose gold, with a blue opaline dial. A spot of summer sunshine is its best friend: the light enhances its iridescent sheen and sets the 54 diamonds around the bezel on fire. There’s more to see over on the back of the watch, where the hand-wound Calibre 1400 drives the hours and minutes, a discreet but equally stunning spectacle. This watch has all you need, and nothing you don’t, in a peerless package.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph

Du bleu pour ces dames

Sport-loving ladies who refuse to compromise on elegance will love this Royal Oak Offshore. On the one hand, it has the essential robust steel case and the chronograph function, while on the other, the rose gold, the 32 diamonds around the bezel and the silvered tapisserie dial with azure frame add a note of elegant luxury. The watch is perfectly complemented by a white alligator strap which, when set against your summer tan, makes the rest of your outfit largely irrelevant. Irrelevant is nevertheless not a word we would associate with the automatic Calibre 2385, which also powers the date function, and guarantees a power reserve of 40 carefree hours.

H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Diamond

Du bleu pour ces dames

Where’s the blue?  It’s invisible to the casual observer. Only the wearer knows it’s there, hidden from sight.  The H. Moser & Cie Bucherer Blue Editions does everything backwards. On the back of the watch, through a sapphire crystal, the automatic HMC200 movement displays a blue balance, bridge and rotor. The strap also features a discreet blue lining. But even from the front this steel watch has plenty to offer, with its smoked grey dial and bezel set with 60 diamonds.

Rado HyperChrome Diamond

Du bleu pour ces dames

Mother-of-pearl and diamonds are traditional embellishments for women’s watches. In this model, Rado combines them with a high-tech material of its own – plasma ceramic. The case and bracelet emit a metallic lustre, while the iridescent blue mother-of-pearl and the flash of diamonds add a more feminine touch.
