Around 300 guests and the CEOs of Piaget, Carl F. Bucherer and Panerai accepted Bucherer CEO Guido Zumbühl’s invitation to attend the Zurich launch of the fascinating and mesmerising campaign film for the exclusive Bucherer BLUE Collection.

Bucherer BLUE has a track record of transforming itself into one of the most innovative lifestyle platforms for watch fans who love exceptional collaborations unbounded by convention. Bucherer BLUE is a source of inspiration and surprise. Under the campaign theme “What’s your exceptional”, the brand is targeting millennials with unique collaborations that redefine lifestyle and break new ground. To tie in with this message, Bucherer decided to work with young and exceptional international talent to showcase its three latest Bucherer BLUE Collection timepieces: people who question conventions, have pushed the boundaries in their field and follow their passion. 

The enthusiasm of a new generation
The British conceptual artist Claudia Moseley creates new and limitless conscious experiences through impressive installations made of exciting materials and technologies. In the campaign, this artist presents the new Piaget Possession Bucherer BLUE. For the equally new Carl F. Bucherer Manero AutoDate Bucherer BLUE, Polish artist Marta Basandowska created the extraordinary, oversized BLUE Cube in bright blue with intricately woven structures, a symbol of the infinite connections inherent in the passage of time.

Bucherer CEO Guido Zumbühl and Panerai CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué gave a truly breathtaking introduction to the new Bucherer BLUE collaboration. The hero in the campaign film, American world-class fencer, world champion and Olympic medallist Miles Chamley-Watson, presented this sporty and exceptional masterpiece in watchmaking craftsmanship by Florence’s pre-eminent manufacturer in an exciting and truly extraordinary way. With his flamboyant appearance, the exceptional athlete – who flew in from New York for the occasion – is the symbol of a modern visionary who perfectly embodies the boldness of Bucherer BLUE; he challenges stereotypes and redefines the rules of the game in his traditional sport. Just like Bucherer BLUE and its partners take a fresh look at the conventions of the watch market for new generations.
