DFS Group unveils an exclusive new Bulgari Collection.

On August 21, 2018 in Hong Kong, DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, and Italy’s luxury jewelry house Bulgari, announced a new edition of Lucea Tubogas, available exclusively at DFS and T Galleria by DFS stores from August 1, 2018 until January 31, 2019.

This exclusive DFS collection introduces two new Bulgari Lucea Tubogas pieces, the first major design evolution of the Lucea collection since its 2014 launch. For the first time, Lucea is presented with the Tubogas bracelet, highlighting Bulgari’s heritage as a jeweler. The Tubogas technique has been used in jewelry making since the late 1940s. The design was revived in the 1970s when Bulgari introduced it into watches, bracelets, necklaces and rings. The effect of a stark, engineered coil combined with coins and richly colored precious gems created a contrast that marked Bulgari’s style of jewels, intended to be worn and enjoyed every day.

“The new Lucea Tubogas collection signifies what Bulgari is and has always been about - homage to legacy, and the grace of uniquely designed watches from the brand heritage since the 1940s. Bulgari is pleased to present this new additional Lucea Tubogas with DFS” said Kolia Neveux, Regional Managing Director, Bulgari Greater China.

“At DFS we continually seek to offer our traveling customers new, exclusive and iconic product selections” added Matthew Green, DFS Group Vice President Luxury Fashion, Watches, Jewelry and Accessories.

Bulgari’s new Lucea Tubogas range will be available exclusively for purchase at DFS and T Galleria by DFS stores worldwide until January 2019.

Caressing the wrist with comfort, the new Lucea Tubogas brings an everyday modernity to the Lucea universe. The slinky links of the Tubogas bracelet add symmetry when contrasted with the round face of the Lucea. Available in 28mm or 33mm, the two new models come in a steel case with an alternating steel Tubogas bracelet and a shimmering white mother-of-pearl dial. With a date window at 3 o’clock, a quartz movement powers the 28mm models while the 33mm versions boast a mechanical automatic-winding caliber. The watches have diamond hour markers and a pink cabochon-cut gemstone set into the crown.
