Sands of freedom beneath the paving stones - Bulgari
Bulgari pays tribute to the antic Rome through this golden timepiece.

The visually spectacular dial of the Lvcea Mosaïque beneath a technical and aesthetic feat and a tribute to the Eternal City that continues to inspire Bulgari. Not only do the 700 gold ‘paving stones’ composing the dial mosaic motif measure less than one millimeter on each side, but they each also rest on a grain of sand in order to achieve a tiny slant radiating across its outer edges. It takes the artisan two whole days of meticulous craftsmanship to arrange the 700 tiny precious metal squares in their appointed place, and the fabulous resulting assembly makes each dial truly unique. It is also a first in watch industry and a fresh demonstration of Bulgari’s passionate and successful innovative approach to both watchmaking and jewelry.

In a nod to the origins of the Lvcea collection whose DNA stems from the Roman sundials that combined light with time, this limited series available in pink or white gold versions appeals through its blend of aesthetic singularity and warm radiance.
