Let’s twist again! - Cartier
1 minute read
Maillon de Cartier.

Almost 60 years after Chubby Checker and his famous song, Cartier is indeed performing its own version of the twist. With its Maillon de Cartier collection, the brand is venturing off the beaten track by introducing a range of offbeat yet under¬stated timepieces. “Offbeat” because the links of the bracelet are aligned at an angle in an offset sequence. The twisting effect thus created per-fectly matches the case, with which the brace¬let merges thanks to the sloping lugs. Despite its coiled motif, Maillon de Cartier features entirely consistent architecture with rectangular links, a hexagonal dial (adorned with triangles on one of the models) and Roman numerals. Everything has been designed with a view to offering a time¬piece distinguished by sophisticated geometry.

Let’s twist again!

In 18K yellow, pink or white gold versions, this new creation is available naked or set from head to toe – from bezel to bracelet – in brilliant-cut diamonds, including a 50-piece limited edition (yellow gold, black dial, gemset bezel and dial). To add even more twist to this timepiece, the Maison has also created an Art Deco-style 20-piece version on which the 300 diamonds (4.78cts) come accompanied by 96 tsavorites as well as blue and green triangles (on the dial).
