Following on the two Tank Cintrée limited editions launched in 2017 to celebrate the centenary of the collection, Cartier presents this year three other models with a more classic design. If the 2017 models, in pink gold and platinum, were skeletonized, those of 2018 have a solid dial.
Sleek and elegant, the three new Tank Cintrée measure 46.3mm x 23mm wide and 7.6mm thick and come with a titanium case and gray dial, a 18K rose gold case and black dial, or with a 18K yellow gold case and golden dial. The beaded crown is adorned with a sapphire cabochon on the gold versions and a ruby cabochon on the platinum watch. The dial features large Art Deco-like Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, baton indexes and sword-shaped hands, respectively in black oxidised steel, steel with black finish, and blued steel.
Powered by the manual movement 8971 MC caliber, the watch indicates hours and minutes and guarantees a 38-hour power reserve.
The three models are equipped with an alligator leather strap secured by a pin buckle matching the material of the case.
