Fifteen years after its creation, Chanel continues to pay tribute to this watchmaking icon.

Launched in 2000, the J12 was the first watch to dare transforming high-tech ceramic into a precious material. Firstly in radiant black and in 2003, in immaculate white, the number 12 becomes part of the House's symbolic numbers. In 2011, Chanel brings another innovation with the creation of titanium ceramic that confers a unique and ever changing color reference to its bracelet.
This year at Baselworld, the J12 collection welcomed some new Haute Horlogerie watch models. Today, we are introducing the J12 Flying Tourbillon Beige Gold and the J12 Flying Tourbillon Diamonds.

The white high-tech ceramic case of the J12 Flying Tourbillon Beige Gold is topped with a 18K beige gold bezel is illuminated by the flange of the dial, in 18K beige gold and set with 74 brilliant-cut diamonds. The watch is mounted on a white high-tech ceramic bracelet equipped with a titanium triple-folding buckle. The J12 Flying Tourbillon Beige Gold is limited to just 50 pieces.

Both timepieces are powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement. A tourbillon stylized with a precious comet, this star, whirls about lightly, as if weightless. The epitome of a high-quality complication, this tourbillon is without an upper bridge and is the result of close collaboration between Chanel and Swiss master watchmakers Renaud & Papi (APRP SA).
