Chaumet - Frise Divine

Chaumet Frise Divine

Preselected in the Jewellery category of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2017, this transformable cuff watch is an ode to Apollo.

La Nature de Chaumet collection reinterprets the Maison’s founding sources of inspiration, expressing the identity of Chaumet while revealing its vision of nature. Emblem of victory and an ode to Apollo, the evergreen laurel also celebrates immortality. It is adorned here with shades of blue and white. The sculpted chalcedony, sapphires and diamonds of the Frise divine ensemble create a gradation of lavender, blue and white tones. Repeated motifs of bending leaves are enhanced by the finest yellow gold threading.

The white gold case of the small watch housed in the heart of the interlaced laurels finely chiseled and set contains a quartz movement distributing the hours and minutes. In a jewellery metamorphosis, the cuff watch transforms into a bracelet. The timepiece element at the center is replaced with the brooch that accompanies the piece.
