Inspired by vintage cars, this timepiece belongs to the new Racing Collection.
Marzio Villa, the President and owner of Cuervo y Sobrinos, has a profound love of vintage cars and has demonstrated this with participation in the 1000 Miglia, Targa Florio, Nuvolari and the Liege Rome Liege. Moreover, this year the brand have invited fellow enthusiasts of vintage cars to participate in the Cuervo y Sobrinos Cup (27th-30th June 2013).
In recognition of Marzio’s passion for speed and octane-fuelled thrills, Cuervo y Sobrinos has created the Racing Collection, including the Historiador Cronomundo, the Robusto Cronometa and the Torpedo Crono.
The Torpedo Crono 43mm stainless steel case features a tachymeter scale on the bezel. The screwed open back cover bears the inscription "racing collection" and the CyS Cup logo.
The watch is equipped with a swiss made automatic movement whose functions are: chronograph with 60 seconds counter in the center, 30 minutes counter at 9 o'clock, 12 hours counter at 6 o'clock, small seconds at 3 o'clock and big date at 12 o'clock.
The Torpedo Crono comes with a carbon-like leather strap. The stainless steel folding buckle is engraved with CyS emblem.
