Klepcys Chronograph, Yin and Yang.

Presented at Baselworld in five different versions, the new self-winding Klepcys chronograph stands out above first and foremost for the transformation of its finely proportioned case, as well as by the aesthetically pleasing and original arrangement of its functions. The vertical display of the chronograph counters along the 12-6 o’clock axis are neatly slipped beneath the time indication on the right-hand side of the dial, while the central seconds hand sweeps around the same 3-9 o’clock axis as that of the arrow-tipped date pointer and the animated black/white running seconds. On either side of these indications framed by a titanium case with satin-brushed/shotblasted finishing, the two crowns divide up the roles between them : start/stop functions are handled by the one on the right thus avoiding any need to shift fingers, while the left-hand one serves for zero-resetting. User friendliness and legibility are backed by a comfortable fit thanks to a supple rubber strap equipped with a fine-adjustment doubleblade system operated with just two fingers and no need for tools. The transparent back reveals the exclusive movement created in cooperation with Jean-François Mojon, laureate of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
