Eberhard & Co. Eberhard & Co. Scafograf 300, unique piece for sale

Treat yourself to a unique edition of the Scafograf 300, winner of the Sports Watch prize at the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2016.

The company founded by George-Lucien Eberhard in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1887 celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. The independent watchmaker, which from its earliest times has been driven by a passion for precision, specialised early on in producing technical watches. 1919 saw the arrival of the most advanced wrist chronograph of its time. Since then, Eberhard & Co. has never stopped innovating.

WorldTempus is offering a unique edition of one of the icons of the deep: the Scafograf. Born in the 1950s, this collection has continued to grow over the years, conquering the hearts and minds of divers and explorers, incorporating models in steel with automatic movements and a water resistance of 100, 200, 300, 400, 750 and even 1000 metres! Contemporary in execution but bearing the hallmarks of vintage design, the new Scafograf 300 borrows all the signature features that cemented the success of its predecessors – robust 43 mm steel case, domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional rotating bezel in ceramic with luminous markings on the 15-minute counter and date at 3 o’clock, which are unique in a dive watch. The timepiece also includes a helium security valve at 9 o’clock to guarantee maximum reliability.

The sleek black dial presents luminescent applied indices, with the number 16 in Arabic numerals replacing the usual baton index in the 4 o’clock position – the exclusive detail of the unique piece offered by WorldTempus for its 16th anniversary. The hour and minute hands are also coated with luminescent material. The Scafograf 300 is water-resistant to 300 metres, and is equipped with a Swiss Made self-winding mechanical movement with a 38-hour power reserve. A starfish is engraved on the screwed caseback. The watch comes fitted with an integral black rubber strap.

Anyone interested in purchasing this unique watch should send an email to WorldTempus’s director, Brice Lechevalier (brice.lechevalier@worldtempus.com), co-creator of this one-of-a-kind model and your personal contact for all requests.
