Watches from the Diver’s collection perfectly illustrate the brand's hyperactive watch concept : they reinvent the traditional codes of the diving watch, and translate the distinctive signs of Franck Dubarry watches : an innovative yet elegant design and uses of cutting edge technologies.
Added to the diving watch codes, the brand brings several technical and revolutionary elements, but we still find the brand features : the case and its sharp lines, its integrated horns crafted for an ergonomic wearing, and the use of innovative materials. Water resistant to 300 meters, the 43,5x51mm cases use black PVD stainless steel, brass or Damas steel, and have a unidirectional bezel, made with stainless steel, brass or carbon with colored inclusions.
Luminescent indexes on the bezel allow to measure the diving times and decompression stages, and the use of Elastogator© for the waterproof band brings a touch of elegance to this collection, which can be worn for action time as well as for elegant parties.
The automatic Dubois Depraz 14580 movement, offering a 44-hour power reserve, is visible from a skeletonized dial. It unveils a bottom plate stippled and animating two date wheels. Laser cutted, covered by a luminescent treatment and inspired by the Crazy Wheel design, the date wheels allow to read the date through a large aperture at 12h. The hours and minutes hands are engraved with a Maori tattoo pattern, iconic from the creations made by the watchmaker Franck Dubarry.
Developed in Switzerland, the Neoralithe© is a revolutionary material made from resin. Stable, UV and thermal or physical shocks resistant, this material opens up new horizons in the watchmaking industry.
The Diver Collection is available in 5 different versions : three PVD stainless steel versions, carbon bezel with colored luminova inclusions and orange or green Neoralithe© dial insert; a version with Damas steel case and stainless steel bezel; and a last version, with case and bezel in brass.
