Partner of the Riva Historical Society, Frédérique Constant celebrates the Runabout yachts with a series of limited edition timepieces every year.

Last August 7th–8th, Frédérique Constant embodied its brand message to ‘Live your passion,’ returning to the 43rd Annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance as a title sponsor for the fifth consecutive year.

This year’s event featured nearly 100 vintage and classic boat entries from runabouts and racers to unique utility boats and custom built wooden yachts, dating back to pre and post-World War II, including Chris Crafts, Gar Woods, and of course the legendary Rivas.

Frédérique Constant introduces this year a new “Runabout Moonphase Automatic” with 2 new limited editions.

With a case diameter of 40mm, offered in both stainless steel and rose gold plated, the watches feature hand-applied Arabic indexes with a silver – partly guilloché - dial, protected by a diamond-hard convex sapphire crystal. Both models feature a see-through case back, allowing owners to view the FC-365 automatic caliber, which has 25 jewels and a 42 hours power reserve. The Riva Historical Society flag is etched into the case back glass.

Functions of the watches include hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month and a moonphase feature. A luxurious leather strap, either brown or black, completes the timepiece.
Each new Runabout Moonphase Automatic model is limited to 2’888 pieces and is delivered in a special gift box with a miniature replica of a wooden boat.
