Cat’s Eye Power Reserve - Girard-Perregaux
The new Cat’s Eye Power Reserve is fitted with a guilloché dial and marked by strikingly asymmetrical features.

Girard-Perregaux unveils a new version of the Cat’s Eye Power Reserve. Its oval shape is the characteristic signature mark of this collection. It combines mechanical movements with a feminine elegance of design and underscores various decorative aspects of the timepiece.

Combining different visual effects, the dial - black or silver -  offers a guilloché effect decoration. Much like a sun, the small seconds dial at 9 o’clock emanates finely striated rays arranged asymmetrically around it.

The dial also plays with the oval shape. The motif is doubly present, in the form both of the date window at 3 o’clock and of the small seconds indicator. Two oval polished flanges enhance the date, with one slightly off-center from the other. Despite their different dimensions, they share the same satin-finished surface. The small seconds hand is displayed on a decentered miniature dial with hollowedout railroad graduations. Leaf-shaped hands that are both domed and slender in profile indicate all its functions. The Arabic numerals “6”, “9” and “12” shine with particular intensity. Diamonds add the finishing touch to this precious perimeter.

The stainless steel case of the Cat’s Eye Power Reserve is topped off by a bezel containing 64 brilliant-cut diamonds. The case-back, secured by four screws, is fitted with sapphire crystal. It thus reveals the movements of the oscillating weight, decorated with a “tapestry” consisting of repeated Girard-Perregaux logo. Inside the case, the exclusive automatic mechanical manufacture caliber GP03300-0070 offers hours, minutes, small second hand and date functions together with a power reserve indicator.

Each variety of the dials come with an alligator strap or steel bracelet fitted with a folding buckle.
