Laureato 34 mm Royalty - Girard-Perregaux
This time, the new Laureato model has been designed for ladies with a 34 mm case and a bezel set with diamonds.

Girard-Perregaux presents the Laureato 34 mm Royalty, a new ladies' watch with the identifiable aesthetic of the Laureato collection. Its unchanged octagonal bezel, now set with 56 diamonds and framed by a polished circle, serves as the focal point of the 34 mm-diameter case available in steel (200-piece limited edition) or satin-brushed pink gold (100-piece limited edition), flowing seamlessly into a bracelet featuring alternately polished and satin-brushed links. This timepiece has an intense lacquered blue dial adorned with a “clous de Paris” hobnail guilloché motif.

Initially launched in 1975 with an ultra-precise quartz heart vibrating at an original oscillating frequency (32,768 Hz) that has since become the industry standard, the Laureato was one of the most high-performing wristwatches of its time. Thereby the 9 ¼-ligne (20,80 mm) high-frequency Calibre GP013100-0004 is a direct descendant of the one developed by the Manufacture in the early 1970s and which served as an industry benchmark in setting the vibration frequency for a crystal tuning fork: an essential element in the smooth operation of quartz instruments.

Proud of its technical contribution and its expertise in the domain of cutting-edge movements, the management of Girard-Perregaux has decided to present this quartz movement developed and produced in the workshops of the Manufacture through a sapphire crystal. Finished with the same meticulous care as a classic mechanical calibre, it will prove entirely satisfactory for demanding women by guaranteeing an accurate display of the time, as well as the date at 3 o’clock, in every situation.
