Glashütte Original PanoInverse Limited Edition
This timepiece reinterprets the idea of openly displaying the inner beauty of a timepiece and allows the balance bridge to seemingly float within the movement thanks to the artfully cut out base plate.
The new timepiece in platinum, limited to 25 pieces, represents a new chapter in the success story of the PanoInverse line. The idea of presenting the balance bridge and the beating heart of the movement on the dial side celebrated its tenth anniversary only last year. Now the new limited edition presents once again the lavishly and its rhythmically pulsating screw balance at centre stage. To the viewer this artfully finished assembly seems to be floating on air.
The characteristic form of the three-quarter plate, which is normally positioned on the back at the movement and visible only through the sapphire crystal case back, is also shown to great advantage in the limited edition of the PanoInverse. Filigree foliage flows over the rhodium-plated surface in fine lines and delicate branching and not just on the upper side with the balance bridge, but on the back of the movement as well. This hand engraving transforms each of the 25 watches into a unique work of art.

The unconventional face of the watch is enhanced by screw-mounted gold chatons, ruby-red jewels, blued screws and gilt engravings. Skeletonizing is also evident in a prominent location: in the white gold hour and minute hands.

The manual winding Calibre 66-08, inverted in an original way, beats at a frequency of 28'800 vph and features a running time of 41 hours. Along with the hour, minute and small second indicators, the watch offers a power reserve display and a second-stop mechanism.
The finely finished movement is housed in a 42 mm polished and satin-brushed platinum case. The dial is blue-grained lacquered dial and the cornflower blue of the screws, the finely grained dial and the dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap offer additional blue accents. In addition, a blue sapphire cabochon adorns the crown.
