Emerald Collection - Harry Winston
With its intense blue dial, its diamonds and its distinctive shaped case, this collection alludes directly to Mr. Winston’s legacy.

When Mr. Winston founded his eponymous jewelry emporium in 1932, one of his pursuits involved the acquisition of important estate jewelry, which he would then re-cut and re-set allowing the intrinsic beauty of the stones to prevail. For him the emerald-cut was the most elegant and flattering cut for precious stones and became intimately associated with the creations of the New York jeweler.

It is precisely this emerald-cut shape that has inspired the sophisticated profile of the white or rose gold case of the new Harry Winston Emerald timepiece.
Harry Winston’s universe is often associated with the blue color, and for a very compelling reason. Mr. Winston is the owner of one of the world’s most important treasure troves of historic diamonds and gemstones and had acquired the mythical Hope diamond from the estate of American socialite Evalyn Walsh McLean. Harry Winston donated  this rare 45.52-carats dark blue diamond to the Smithsonian Institution to share with the world in 1958. With its feminine emerald-cut case, the new Harry Winston Emerald timepiece subtly echoes the silhouette of the world’s most famous blue diamond.

The Harry Winston Emerald timepiece is presented in a 9 mm x 15,55 mm white gold case with a blue lacquered dial and is also available in rose gold with a snowy white satin sunburst dial. Both models come on a choice of double tour satin straps that match the color theme of the dial, or on rose or white gold Milanese bracelets, a novelty for the House of Harry Winston.

The intense blue or white color of the dial emanates a glossy sheen and glows with the sparkle of three brilliant-cut diamonds set at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The bezel, crown, lugs and ardillon buckle have been set with 67 brilliant-cut diamonds, equivalent to 0.53 carat.
The quartz Caliber HW1040 powers the hour and minute functions of the watch.
