Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Ibiza
After Mykonos, Capri and Porto Cervo, Hublot inaugurated a pop-up boutique on Ibiza for the summer and unveiled a horological dedication to the enchantment of the island.
Ibiza the white island, like its immaculate traditional fincas, stands out against the pure azure sky and overlooks the crystal-clear blue sea. This Mediterranean pearl, imbued with bohemian nonchalance, harbours elegant, intimate places and radiates the festive atmosphere of the season. Hublot has set up shop here for summer 2019 and inaugurated a pop-up boutique. Guests enjoyed a taster of the holidays on the Marina in the presence of Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, and Noemi de Miguel, a TV host for Formula 1.

"Modern and authentic, traditional and cosmopolitan, bohemian and chic; Ibiza is alluring and overflowing with dualities. These dichotomies inspired us to make a chronograph that is at once very simple and very refined, thanks to its rubber and alligator strap. A way of celebrating the summer, which is synonymous with fun and freedom," said Ricardo Guadalupe.
To celebrate the boutique opening, Hublot created the Classic Fusion Chronograph Ibiza model, inspired by the island, its festive nature and its symbolism. This innovative model features a 45-mm case in blue ceramic, crowned with a bezel also in blue ceramic, and is powered by the HUB1143 self-winding chronograph movement, oscillating at a frequency of 28 800 vph and ensuring a power reserve of 42 hours.

As a nod to the hippy spirit that is part of Ibiza’s charm, the Peace and Love symbol features on the seconds counter drawn at 3 o’clock on the white mate dial, as well as on the watch box. Limited to 50 pieces, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Ibiza is equiped with a bi-material strap in white alligator and blue rubber with blue stitching.
