Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic - Hublot

The Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski has been paired with Hublot's patented red ceramic.

At Baselworld 2018, Hublot expanded its catalogue of innovations by adding the first ceramic to be created in a vibrant colour. This 100% in-house innovation in materials and manufacturing processes (a fusion of pressure and heat which sinters the ceramic without burning its pigments), the ceramic created is harder than previously seen (1500 HV1 versus 1200 HV2).

Since 2017 Richard Orlinski, the world's bestselling contemporary artist, has been adding his angular style to Hublot watches. Works of art for the wrist, these feature his signature facets, nuanced with angles and edges. Like his sculptures, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic boasts the sharp three-dimensional sculpted lines and polished finish which are the artist's trademark.

The colour of the Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic evokes Richard Orlinski's first Born Wild Crocodile sculpture, which was created in 2004 and was red. Red has since gone on to become the most recognisable colour in Orlinski's menagerie.

The Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic has a 45 mm case crafted from Hublot's red ceramic and water resistant to 50 meters.  From the seconds hand to the counters and indexes; from the case to the bezel, all the way to the  rubber strap, nothing has escaped the vivid glow of red. The sapphire case back reveals the HUB1155 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement, which offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic is released in a limited edition of 200 pieces.
