Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon - Jacob & Co.
A 12th tourbillon is added to the vast high complication collection of Jacob & Co., the Epic SF24 Flying Tourbillon.

This watch, whose “SF” initials stand for “Split Flap”, is a first in the watchmaking industry, marking the first time that a Split Flap has been integrated into a timepiece. A system of miniaturized flaps, the digital and vertical GMT mechanism is capable of displaying 24 time zones instantaneously with a single press on the pusher, located at the left side of the GMT indicator.

In order to offset the effect of gravity on the performance of the watch, Jacob & Co. offers a flying tourbillon only held on one side without support of an upper bridge. The JCAA03 calibre, oscillating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, is built with 528 components.

The black dial offers a decoration with the name of global cities, which allows the owner to travel the world in the blink of an eye. Dressed on top of the tourbillon, an abstract architecture of triangles in openwork metal, a motif dear to the founder Jacob Arabo, symbolizes stability, spirituality and determination.

This model exists in three references, including a set version.
