JeanRichard launches its first special edition Terrascope in collaboration with the “King of the High Wire” Nik Wallenda.

On November 2, 2014, the king of the high wire and JeanRichard ambassador, Nik Wallenda, will be taking the challenge of a new walk in Chicago. In front of live viewers and millions across the globe following Wallenda on Discovery Channel, he will attempt yet another daring walk between the Marina Tower to the Leo Burnett building, wearing his new JeanRichard Terrascope special edition designed solely for him.

In June 2013, Wallenda was already wearing a Terrascope timepiece during his Grand Canyon walk. He won the Emmy Award for Top TV Moments of the Year 2013 for that performance.

“We are very excited to see Nik Wallenda walking over the skyline of Chicago and are extremely proud he will be wearing the specially designed Terrascope timepiece for the first time on this occasion”, said Bruno Grande, Managing Director of JeanRichard. “The high-wire king is a true Philosopher of Life, who lives his life to the fullest. Like Wallenda, the new Terrascope created just for him will be of dynamic and vigorous nature that will fascinate JeanRichard aficionados and adventurers alike.”

“The dedication and focus I bring to my craft as a high wire artist, is the same that JeanRichard brings to the art of watchmaking. It's an incredible privilege to be working with JeanRichard as we share the same passion for excellence and Philosophy of Life", added Nik Wallenda.

The Wallenda family has been in high wire art for seven generations and passed on their pioneering spirit throughout. Just like Daniel JeanRichard revolutionized the Swiss Watch making industry and has influenced it tremendously through his apprenticeship system since the 17th century.
