Tambour Monogram - Louis Vuitton
This new Tambour watch reproduces Louis Vuitton's Monogram pattern and is available in three sizes.

In 2002, Louis Vuitton made its watchmaking debut with the Tambour, an unprecedented timepiece that integrates all of the House‘s values into its design: the twelve Louis Vuitton letters engraved into the case, next to each hour, the brown of the dial inspired by the famous Monogram and the yellow of the seconds hands recalling the waxed thread of the Louis Vuitton’s bags.

Available in multiple references – from the simple three-hand quartz model to high complications – Tambour has come to symbolize identity, a signature, combining a timeless look with renewed technical performance. Louis Vuitton has just unveiled two new models in the Tambour collection.

Louis Vuitton is presenting today two new models in the Tambour collection, the Tambour Monogram watches, which will be shortly followed by the Tambour Damier Graphite. Both combine the historic case with new dials that faithfully reproduce the Monogram and Damier Graphite canvases, thanks to the skilled craftsmanship of the dial experts at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Geneva.

Driven by a quartz movement powering the hours, minutes and seconds, the new Tambour Monogram comes in a stainless steel case available in three sizes, 28, 34, 39.5mm in diameter. The polished rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are coated with Superluminova and the second hand features the traditionnal yellow colour. The Monogram pattern is engraved and printed on the dial while the strap is made of Monogram canvas and equiped with an ardillon buckle. This strap features Louis Vuitton’s innovative patented interchangeable system, allowing wearers to match their watch to every occasion and invent their own style.
