Louis Vuitton Tambour Slim Monogram Savane
In collaboration with Jake and Dinos Chapman, Kim Jones, Men’s Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, designed the Tambour Slim Monogram Savane for the Spring-Summer 2017 collection.
At the center of this new model stands an elephant envisioned by the Chapman Brothers as a reference to the grand adventures in captivating destinations, in perfect harmony with Louis Vuitton's spirit of travel. The silver-finished dial evoking a coin was made by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. It is integrated in a 39mm polished steel case.
The “Monogram Savane Ink” canvas strap is one of the House's new signatures, with an Africa-inspired name that can be found in numerous ready-to-wear pieces and accessories in this new spring-summer 2017 men's collection.
