Four New Aikons Take the Stage - Maurice Lacroix
A new movement, new designs, new colours and new details grace Maurice Lacroix’s iconic Aikon.

Maurice Lacroix’s Aikon collection has been going from strength to strength since its relaunch in 2016 as these four new editions for Watches And Wonders 2021prove so well with a continuation of the model’s graphic and powerful design.

Maurice Lacroix Aikon Master Grand Date

Maurice Lacroix Watches And Wonders 2021The big news for the Maurice Lacroix Aikon for Watches And Wonders is this new Aikon Master Grand Date that features a brand new movement that has been inspired by the brand’s Masterpiece Gravity calibre. “The Aikon Master Grand Date truly reflects the mindset of the brand today,” shares Stéphane Waser, Managing Director of Maurice Lacroix. “It is creative, modern, and fresh and comes with a touch of coolness and basically all the know-how, craftsmanship, and experience of our employees and watchmakers.”

The new ML331 movement keeps the main aesthetic elements of the Gravity – visible escapement on the dial side, off-centered hours and minutes, and small seconds – but offers a thinner movement and the addition of a useful big date. The timepiece comes in a 45mm stainless steel case and comes with a deep blue grained dial with an embossed squared pattern for the sub dial. Turn the watch over, and the same exceptional level of finishing continues onto the movement with a contemporary sandblasted finish on the bridges and plates and traditional hand-polished angles.

The Aikon Venturer Bronze 43mm

After the success of last year’s Aikon Automatic Bronze Limited Edition, Maurice Lacroix is presenting a new special edition that mixes anthracite and bronze. An anthracite sunray-brushed dial, black ceramic bezel, and anthracite leather or black rubber strap come together to accentuate the honey tones of the bronze case and the six bronze bezel arms. The bronze used by Maurice Lacroix is a special alloy that can be given a patina or browned-colour without oxidizing the metal. Powered by the ML115 automatic movement, the Aikon Venturer Bronze 43mm is limited to 500 pieces.

Aikon Automatic Titanium Chronograph

Continuing on the innovative materials theme, Maurice Lacroix is now unveiling its Aikon Automatic Chronograph in titanium. This light, tough, and technical material is the perfect alloy for a sports watch where performance and resistance are key. Titanium is 50 per cent lighter than steel and comes in a darker grey colour with an intense matt gunmetal finish that lends itself perfectly to the Aikon Automatic Titanium Chronograph design. The timepiece comes in a 44mm case size, is water-resistant to 200 metres, and is extremely resistant to abrasion, making it perfect for the daring urban adventurer.

Aikon Venturer 38mm

For the smaller wrist size, the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Venturer 38mm comes with a satin-finished and polished stainless-steel case and a white lacquered dial that is adorned with eight rhodium-finished hour-markers and diamonds. Although more elegant in its smaller size, all the toughness of the Aikon collection dominates with a water-resistance of 300 metres and a self-winding movement.

This new chapter of Maurice Lacroix Aikon timepieces attests to the brand’s creative and technical expertise as well as reinforces its philosophy of providing great value for money. It is impossible to take a sneak peek at a Maurice Lacroix Aikon price tag without smiling or looking pleasantly surprised!
