Maurice Lacroix - The Eliros brings colour to the catwalk

Maurice Lacroix The Eliros brings colour to the catwalk

The brand is pleased to unveil two new watches that provide the perfect antidote to the winter blues, courtesy of their vibrantly hued dials.

The Eliros Green Smoked Dial and Eliros Rainbow incorporate cheerful shades and vibrant tones for the delectation of fashionistas. However, while these models have a playful side to their characters, they remain highly practical and perfectly suited for daily wear.

Eliros Green Smoked Dial

The Eliros Green Smoked Dial is rich with detail, effervescently stylish and evinces a modern appearance. The green dial is enriched with a sun brushed pattern and is paired with PVD 4N case, measuring 40 mm in diameter.  The hour and minute hands are rose gold plated, granting a note of luxury while proving effortless to read. Golden indexes denote each hour and comprise of either elongated Roman numerals or supremely slender batons. The svelte appearance of the indexes is shared with the slim central seconds hand which engages with the minute track encircling the dial. A date indication at 3 o’clock completes the inventory of functions. A sumptuous, coordinating green calf leather strap, incorporating the distinctive ‘M’ logo, unites the watch with its wearer. Light beige stitching enhances the model’s visual allure, while the ‘easy strap exchange’ system provides owners with the opportunity to alter the appearance of their watch without the need for any tools. This model joins the permanent collection.

Eliros Rainbow

While the Eliros Green Smoked Dial is lively and eye-catching, the Eliros Rainbow is unashamedly flamboyant. The dial and strap are endowed with a PU material which is suffused with a myriad of shades, replicating the appearance of a rainbow. In addition, both possess a dynamic character, continuously changing colour depending on the position the watch is held. The capacity of this watch to reveal a plethora of hues makes it the ideal accessory, whether combined with casual or formal garments. In order to ensure the rainbow shades fully enjoy the limelight, the dial eschews indexes, the usual date indication and minute track. There are no superfluous details, just stylish hour and minute hands, executed in PVD 4N. Everything is designed to allow the striking colour scheme to bask in the attention of onlookers. Housed in a 40mm rose gold PVD case, the Eliros Rainbow brims with luxury. Its rainbow strap, incorporating the brand’s ‘M’ logo, can be easily swapped for an alternative, courtesy of Maurice Lacroix’s ingenious ‘easy strap exchange’ system. This model is limited to 1000 pieces.

Above all, it’s a Maurice Lacroix

While both models employ captivating colours, ideally complementing any fashionable outfit, the materials used uphold Maurice Lacroix’s reputation for Swiss craftsmanship. At the heart of each Eliros is a quartz movement, eliminating the need for winding and delivering excellent precision. Furthermore, close examination of both models reveals that Maurice Lacroix continues to present timepieces whose perceived value is higher than their price suggests.

The question is clear, ‘what will you be wearing this season?’
