Maurice Lacroix x Fine Watch Club - Aikon-ic: The Fine Watch Club and Maurice Lacroix

Maurice Lacroix x Fine Watch Club Aikon-ic: The Fine Watch Club and Maurice Lacroix

For its third limited edition with special partner brands, the Fine Watch Club has collaborated with Maurice Lacroix on a special and exclusive Aikon Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition of 24 pieces only.

Maurice Lacroix is a brand that has gone through a transformation, for the better, in the last 10 years. In an effort to appeal to the next generation, the brand has continuously sought to streamline production and offer impeccable watches at competitive prices. Bold, modern and urban, it only made sense for the Fine Watch Club to collaborate with Maurice Lacroix and their dynamic team on the Aikon Automatic Chronograph “Fine Watch Club” Edition. And what makes this even more exclusive? It’s the first time that Maurice Lacroix is making a limited edition of just 24 pieces—previously, the smallest quantity in other limited editions by Maurice Lacroix was 500 pieces. 24 pieces: available only to the Fine Watch Club members.

In this special limited edition, Maurice Lacroix has created a unique colour combination for the Fine Watch Club members, pairing an anthracite dial with blued hands. With dynamic angles and distinct polishing and satin-brushing, the AIKON Automatic Chronograph “Fine Watch Club” Edition has a real presence on the wrist thanks to its 44mm diameter, meticulous detail and sheer energy. This limited edition comes with an interchangeable strap system, so you can easily switch between a steel bracelet or leather strap with carbon-print and blue stitching, a strap that Maurice Lacroix had only previously developed for their unique piece put up for auction at Only Watch 2019.

“For this collaboration, we have deliberately taken one of our bestselling pieces at the moment, and the Aikon collection is really the face of the brand,” said Stéphane Waser, Managing Director of Maurice Lacroix. “In this design, you can see that the design of the chronograph is very present, and it was very interesting to work on this together because of its design with the white counters and anthracite dial,” he continued.

The dial of the AIKON Automatic Chronograph “Fine Watch Club” Edition bears the raised AIKON Automatic Chronograph pattern: chequered, composed of regular squares, presented here in anthracite, offset with blue hands, white applied hour markers and white counters. The strong, angular, bevelled design catches the light to perfection. The elegant, energetic curves of the steel case express the modern, masculine feel that Maurice Lacroix has injected into the models. The edges of the bezel are polished, as are its six arms, an AIKON signature.

Strong and masculine without being excessively detailed or large, the AIKON Automatic Chronograph Fine Watch Club Edition is a resolutely modern timepiece with a unique presence.
