Meccaniche Veloci Icon Stardust

At Baselworld, Meccaniche Veloci presented its latest models from its Icon collection, including this Stardust model featuring a black and white contrast.

The Icon StarDust's characteristic 49 millimetre piston-shaped case is in titanium with a black a-DLC finish and a carbon-fibre case middle. The characteristic four dials – indicating four time zones – are enhanced by the metallic light of the Texalium fibre. Texalium is an extremely lightweight glass and aluminium fibre fabric, a technical material with proven striking structural and aesthetic qualities. The bold elegance of the contrast between light and dark benefits from the flair of the red details, the seconds hand on the bottom right dial and the numerals 10, 11 and 12 on the top right dial inspired by car revolution counters. The indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®.

The Icon StarDust is driven by the MV 8802 Calibre developed in-house that simultaneously manages the four time zones, indicating the hours and minutes, as well as the date and seconds functions. The movement beats at 28’800 oscillations/hour and offers a 48-hour power reserve. Its finishings include perlage, sablage, rodiage and paint. The functions of every single dial are regulated via their corresponding crowns.

The strap, directly attached to the case via a system that does not require lugs, is in black leather with black stitching and a black a-DLC steel folding clasp.
The Meccaniche Veloci Icon Stardust is priced at 9.200 euros.
