In 2019, Montblanc unveils new models of its Bohème line. After the Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar watch that we presented lately, we take a closer look today at two other novelties, which offer less prestigious complications but great refinement: the Bohème Full Calendar and the Bohème Day/Night models.
Bohème Full Calendar
The new Montblanc Full Calendar comes in a 36 mm polished steel case with antiscratch sapphire crystal and caseback. The watch features a full calendar complication in a pure and elegant aesthetic. The indications include the month in an aperture at 12 o’clock, the date around the outside of the dial and a moon phase at 6 o’clock.
The silvery-white guilloché dial features 8 diamond markers (~0.046 ct). It is highly legible thanks to a precise minute track with red gold-colored dots for the minutes, as well as for the date and the Arabic numerals.
The mechanical self-winding Calibre MB 29.17 with 42 hours of power reserve includes a flat hairspring.
Completing the overall design, the timepiece is equipped with a brand-new blue grené calf strap with stainless steel pin buckle.
Bohème Day/Night
Two new Bohème Day/Night models are available in a 30 mm case size, and two additional models come in a 34 mm size. The day/night indicator allows the wearer to know whether it is day or night just by glancing at the dial. The day is indicated by a light blue sky and golden sun, while the night is represented by a smiling golden moon in a dark blue sky adorned with stars. The Bohème Day/Night complication is as romantic as it is practical as it can be easily adjusted via the crown without accidentally changing the date. The watch's functions are powered by the Calibre MB 24.10, with 42 hours of power reserve.
These refined models are available with a blue grené calf strap or a stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp.
