From traditional craftsmanship to cutting-edge digital technology, Worldtempus covered the full spectrum of watch brand’s activities last week.

Olivier Müller started the week at one extreme, with a tale of craftsmanship and tradition, reviewing Piaget’s collection for next month’s Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, and ended it at the other extreme, discussing Roger Dubuis’ emergence as a pioneer in digital marketing.

With the kind permission of Timefair magazine, we reproduced an in-depth article on Pierre DeRoche, which, along with Hautlence, will celebrate its 10th anniversary next month.

Our Summer Watches series continued with a look at some very decorative watches featuring different landscapes on their dials. The series continues this week with a review of world time watches.

We will ramp up our coverage of the presentation of the watches competing in this year’s Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix over the coming weeks, ahead of the announcement of the preselected watches in September. After checking out the variety in the “Petite Aiguille” category last week, this week we look at the ladies’ watches and jewellery watches.
