While Panerai is one of the few brands to have a very strong international fan club, it is the only one whose followers identifiy so strongly with it that they have named themselves the Paneristi. Born in the year 2000 like GMT magazine, the dedicated Paneristi.com website symbolized the official launch of this community. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, in collaboration with Paneristi and in their honor, Panerai has created a 1020-piece limited series of a model emblematic of its origins. The Venti PAM 2020 immediately stands out with its chocolate-brown beige shades, its sword-shaped hands typical of the early models, as well as the Paneristi 2000-2020 inscription engraved on the dial. The matt finish on the bezel lends a distinctive patina representing a nod to the vintage spirit of the community, as too does the “Venti” engraving between the lugs at 6 o’clock.
