At the Montreux Jazz Festival with Ryan Leslie and two special Kalpa watches - Parmigiani Fleurier
Parmigiani Fleurier is a Global Partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival for the 11th year and welcomes Ryan Leslie as a new friend of the brand.

Zucchero, Massive Attack, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple and Billy Idol are just a few of the big names that will have crowds dancing along the shores of Lake Geneva between 29th Jun and 14th July this year. For its 52nd edition, the Montreux Jazz Festival reaffirms the foundations for its success: quality of the programme and an unparalleled proximity to the artists.

Parmigiani Fleurier will be welcoming its own special guest in the form of new friend of the brand Ryan Leslie, an American artist and producer who has received international acclaim for his work with pre-eminent artists in a number of different music styles. He will visit the independent workshops of Parmigiani Fleurier and will be in Montreux to soak up the atmosphere on a few evenings.

In keeping with tradition, Parmigiani Fleurier presents 10 special edition watches from its Kalpa collection for this year's Montreux Jazz Festival. The men's Kalpa Grande and diamond-set ladies' Kalparisma both have a subtle nod to a piano keyboard on their dial. The motif, which serves as the minute markers, is produced by the master dial maker once the dial has already received its sun-brushed finish. He first masks the areas that need to remain light, then he sandblasts the unprotected zones, which become the black keys and spaces between the keys. Electroplating then reveals the contrast between the two and the piano keyboard outline.

Each watch is limited to just five models and engraved with "MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL 2018" on the case back. These ten Kalpa Grande and Kalparisma models complete the collection of many other special edition watches produced by Parmigiani Fleurier for the Montreux Jazz Festival since 2007.
