Hijri Trilogy - Parmigiani Fleurier
All things come in threes*

The Tonda Hijri Perpetual Calendar won the Innovation Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2020, earning the utmost respect from the jury members who gathered to make their final choices with the watches in hand. It is indeed the world’s first series-produced wristwatch to display the Islamic perpetual calendar. For its CEO Guido Terreni, “with the Tonda Hijri, we are interpreting the time of another culture; it is a very profound undertaking, involving taking the time to develop a perpetual calendar in a radically different and noble way. This is Swiss expertise dedicated to serving another culture.” To magnify this success with a more dazzling level of finishing, Parmigiani Fleurier has produced three 10-piece limited series set with 84 diamonds (7.19 cts), emeralds (4.78 cts) or rubies (6.66 cts), with all gems baguette-cut. What demonstration of skills can we expect for the 25th anniversary of the brand at the end of the year?
