To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Stirrup collection, Ralph Lauren launched a couple of new models of its iconic stirrup-shaped timepiece for the SIHH. These timepieces exist in different sizes. We have already presented you the Stirrup Mini (16.80 x 22.50mm) which is available in rose gold, stainless steel or stainless steel with snow-set (102 diamonds) and comes with a colorful array of interchangeable straps in calfskin, bridle leather or alligator.
Today, let's discover the Small (27.70 x 29.30 mm) and Medium (32.40 x 34.30 mm) versions in stainless steel. Both animated by a quartz movement, the first one is powered by the RL688 caliber with a 43-month battery life and the second one by the RL057 caliber with a 60-month battery life. The snow-setting decorating the bezel is made of 136 diamonds (0.98 carat) for the small size and 144 (1.59 ct.) for the medium size.
As for the mini version, these models are equipped with a strap featuring a small tab and stud that attach the top of the watchcase to the strap, emulating a rider’s saddle. The strap design recalls the contour of a saddle as it passes beneath the case and through the stirrup to secure it. Interchangeable, these alligator straps are available in different colours.
