The Tour Auto Optic 2000 is a unique motorsports competition in France, and will celebrate its 30th birthday year with a magnificent route over 1,930 kilometres starting in Paris and finishing in Nice. For this 2021 vintage year, more than 200 participants will once again have their performances recorded over five legs by REBELLION Timepieces, the official timekeeper of the event. To mark the occasion, the Swiss watchmaker will present a limited edition of its Twenty-One Three Hands Tour Auto watch identifiable by a bold, brand new dial in red, white and blue. With a blue or white rubber strap, the watch is sported proudly on the wrist like an insignia.
All the features of the original model that have made the collection such a success remain, for instance the stylish stainless steel cushion case. On the dial, time information in hours, minutes and seconds and a discreet date window at 3 o’clock sit within a setting inspired by the two-spoke steering wheels of vintage sports cars. The streamlined design ensures the revolutions of the three hands are nice and easy to read.
This timepiece is powered by a Swiss-made calibre which is as robust as it is accurate. Once wound, its automatic self-winding movement offers a power reserve of 38 hours.
